I will never forget this day. History was made.
"Rosa sat... so Martin could march...so Obama could run...so our kids could fly..."
The day I voted for the first time! The first time the people realized what it means to be an American. That we are a country of many colors and ethnicity. The day the voice of the youth was heard, which was considered a "whisper" before Nov, 4th. Walls and barriers were broken. The fall of an era when people say "A Black President will never sit in the Oval Office" is no longer an excuse or a joke. Yes We Can! This moment was bigger than the election. It was a beautiful moment. I'm not gonna lie, seeing Obama give that speech in Chicago brought a tear to my eye as it did to many across the world...“As a kid I wanted to be President, but I was embarrassed to tell anyone. Now, if my son wants to be President, he can. Yes we can!” -Sean "DIDDY" Combs
The genre where many thought was a negative and violent influence to many is also breaking the stereotype!
( P.S.--HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. COMBS. YOUR BIRTHDAY WISH CAME TRUE)
